Bump in the road

We've encountered a bit of a bump in the road. Everyone is scared and doesn't know what to do. We have to wait a little while until Mommy has more tests done, but in the mean time we are all staying strong and praying for the best.


I will be posting new ultrasound pictures later tonight or tomorrow.

First Ultrasound- November 7, 2011

 9 weeks, 3 days. About the size of an olive.

I didn't even know that an ultrasound was being done on this day. Mommy and Daddy just surprised me when they sent me this picture of you. It's hard to believe that you were a mere .9 inches long and only weighed about .07 ounces here. You sure look a lot bigger in the picture! Mommy said Daddy was totally amazed when he saw you on the screen. He said you were moving around like crazy!

This was the day I first learned of your existence. You were just a little poppyseed in your Mommy's belly. Your Dad called me at 6:00pm to give me the news. While I was very excited to be welcoming my very first niece or nephew, there were many emotions going through my mind. I will not go into details on this blog about it because it is private, but someday you will be old enough to understand and learn about the confusing situation everyone was in at this time. From the beginning though, you were not a "situation" you were a baby. You didn't ask to be created, but you were. And through God's grace, we were chosen for you. Take it from me, your parents are fantastic people and your whole extended family is thrilled to be expecting you.
